The St. Louis Blues are hosting an Autism Awareness Night on Sunday, February 17, 2008.  Festivities begin at 5:00 PM and include a silent auction on the concourse and a chance to meet Louie the mascot.  Tickets are available starting at $25.  Local volunteers will be on hand to distribute information about Autism Speaks and local events taking place in St. Louis.  We hope you can join us for this awesome event. Join Autism Speaks’ funded researcher, Dr. John Constantino as he presents an update on autism research on February 28, 2008 at 7pm at the Creve Coeur Government Center. Dr. Constantino is a child psychiatrist at Washington University School of Medicine and well known for his research in the area of autism. Walk Now for Autism Save the Date for the 2008 St. Louis Walk Now for Autism. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park.  Be sure to register online and start your fundraising today. Details will be coming soon about this summer's Kick-Off event where all of your Team Captain Walker materials will be available. 

 
2008 Walk Now for Autism planning is underway. The success of this Autism Speaks' signature grassroots event is due to the dedication, leadership and drive of our local volunteers. We are always looking for new faces to join our planning committee.  If you are interested in being a part of our group, please join us at our first 2008 meeting on February 25 at 7pm at Des Peres Hospital in Community Room #1. All are welcome to attend.
