Behavior Solutions will begin providing implementation (intensive ABA) and behavior assistant services in January, 2008.
Behavior assistants will provide 1:1 intensive teaching (ABA), assistance in carrying out a behavior plan at home, school or community location, and provision of training to caregivers/staff on use of the behavior plan. The service will provide clients with additional learning opportunities and provide relief for caregivers/staff needing additional supports managing behaviors between consultant visits.
Behavior Assistants will work under the direction and supervision of one of our Behavior Consultants. Behavior Solutions is a provider with First Steps, Department of Mental Health DD Home and Community based waivers, Eastern Missouri Autism Project (EMAP), private pay, and some insurances. Funding may also be available through grants from the St. Charles Developmental Disabilities Board and Autism Speaks that Behavior Solutions has been awarded.
